Employee Assistance Program
Services designed to create the model workplace for your organizationWHAT IS AN EAP
An EAP is an employer-sponsored service designed to support employees who may have a personal or family problem, that is affecting or may potentially affect their productive wellbeing. EAPs address a broad range of issues affecting mental and emotional well-being, such as stress, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, alcohol, substance abuse, family problems, financial problems, psychological disorders and work-related problems.
EAP counsellors also work in a consultative role with managers and supervisors to address employee and organizational challenges and needs. EAPs often address organizational distress occasioned by events such as critical incidents, accidents, employee death and illness etc.
A unique aspect of EAP services is its dual focus. One part of this focus is on individual wellbeing and the other, organization wellness. Thus, services cover several preventive elements such a psycho-educational programmes, training and consultation as well as responding to organizational crises or trauma such as Critical Incident debriefings.
Our Approach
Creating Healthy Living and Wellness for the Workplace
At Dolly and Associates, our focus is on the empowerment of your employees to make decisions that promote a balance between their best interest and the best interest of the organization. We partner with our EAP customers to seamlessly integrate our services into the daily well-being of employees — without calling attention to them. We combine responsive services with proactive approaches. We work with employees to define their concerns, to develop an effective course of action to address them and encourage and support them in making the changes necessary to succeed. Through psycho-education workshops, newsletters and information sharing, we proactively address challenges to employee well-being before they become larger, more complex issues. We have been doing it successfully since 1992.

“For far too long, society has come to associate the words “therapy” “psychologist” “counseling” “depression” and “anxiety” with some kind of shame and stigma, such that families in need do not seek the help they or their loved ones need. This stigma often leads to silent suffering and overall poorer quality of life. This in turn often leads to tragic outcomes, if a person is left without the help they need. In my experience as an attorney at law, working with different ngos, and in my own circles and communities, I see the dire need for persons to seek help and not just any help, but help from a trusted provider, like Dolly & Associates. The Dolly name has for more than a decade been known for providing quality services to those in need. If you or someone you know is struggling, do not wait until it is too late, call now to schedule an appointment.”
